There are 2 thermostats in the Blue Heron. One is at the top of the stairs. The other is in the bedroom, to the left as you walk in.
Please turn these off (all the way counter-clockwise) if you are using the air conditioners or have the windows open.
There are 2 air conditioners in the apartment during the warm months. One is in the main room next to the patio door. The other is in the bedroom, also by the patio door.
Please only use the air conditioners in the Air Conditioning/Cool mode. They have a setting for dehumidifying but it will either shut off when the tank is full or leak because they aren't hooked up to a drain line.Â
Skylights above the kitchen let in a lot of light, but can also heat the apartment up on sunny days. If you'd like to open or close them, there is a rod in the closet next to the washing machine.
